Guide · better questions before building

What can a preview help you notice before construction?

A home preview can help you notice finish combinations, room connections and furniture questions that are difficult to picture from a floor plan. It creates a shared view for discussion before construction or ordering. It does not catch every problem, verify clearances or replace the responsible team’s plan and site checks.

Which visual questions are worth testing?

Look from the entry into the living space, from the kitchen toward dining and across connected flooring. Consider which finishes appear together and which pieces of furniture dominate a view. Write the specific question before choosing the camera or making a comparison.

How should I check my furniture?

Supply width, depth and height, and identify which pieces need room to open or move. A stand-in can follow those sizes while looking different. Ask your responsible team to verify room dimensions and required clearances, and separately check delivery routes before buying.

What is a useful record of a decision?

Record the room, plan version, inputs, question, view and chosen next step. Distinguish a changed preference from a mistake against the approved source. A nice picture is not proof that money was saved or that a construction issue was prevented.

What does a preview leave for others to check?

A preview helps you discuss choices. Approved building documents, physical samples and site measurements govern construction, color and fit. It does not approve a design, confirm code compliance or guarantee savings.

Structural work, permits, installation tolerances, product availability and actual site conditions need the appropriate professionals or suppliers.

What else should you know?

Will the preview prevent expensive mistakes?

It may help you ask better questions before an order or build decision, but no avoided-cost or error-prevention guarantee is made. Verify the actual plan, samples, dimensions and orders through the responsible teams.
